Post Business Meeting – May 14, 2019

 

The meeting was opened in proper form at 7:00pm with a Pledge of Allegiance and opening prayer.  The charter was draped for Tim Menzel and Marvin Phillippi.

The roll call showed 11 officers present. 1 excused.

Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read. The Adjutant reported disbursements of $4038.04

New member Juan C. Torres was presented.

The Quartermaster’s report was given. There were no bills.

Committee Reports:Legislative, Membership, Past Commanders, Americanism, Service Officer, and Loyalty Day.

We Remembered Our National Home.

Unfinished Business: None

 

New Business:  The following motions were passed:

 

          To accept Quartermaster’s report, subject to audit.

To table motion on family picnic until the July

          meeting.

Post Business Meeting March 12, 2019 

The meeting was opened in proper form at 7:00pm with Pledge of Allegiance and opening prayer. The Charter was draped for: Dale McFarlin, Robert Jackson, Charles Fritsche, Ernest Barney and Robert Jacobs. The rollcall showed 12 officers present,0 absent. The Adjutant reported no disbursements $0.00. The Quartermaster's report was given. New Member- Bonita Curry accepted without obligation. The following committees reported: Legislative, Membership, Service Officer, Americanism, Community Service, Poppies and Picnic. We remembered our national home. Unfinished business: To amend motion to purchase 50 caps with new VFW logo at $21.00 each, passed. New Business: The following motions passed: 1) To accept Quartermasters report subject to audit. 2) To accept new member. 3) to donate $1000.00 to Veterans Legal treatment Center. Good of the order: A group from Veterans Court spoke on how they help Veterans who got caught up in the legal system. Fourth District Commander Bob Bolz spoke on Membership and upcoming dates of District activities. Cory Geisler second District Commander spoke on his qualification for election to State Junior Vice-Commander. Our First Place Voice of Democracy Winner Gave her speech and accepted her post and district awards. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned in proper form at 8:10 PM.

 The meeting was opened in proper form at 7:00pm with Pledge of Allegiance and opening prayer. The Charter was draped for Joseph Poetz, Paul Schmit, James Argenzio, Al Keinert and Howard Pegelo. The Adjutant reported disbursements of $2,611.76. The quartermaster's report was given. The bill presented was $22.68 for meeting refreshments. The following Committees reported: Legislative, Membership, Past Commanders, Americanism and Service Officer. WE remembered our National Home. Unfinished Business: The Family Picnic will be August 18, 2019 New Business: The Following Motions Passed: 1) To accept Quartermasters report subject to audit. 2)To pay bills out of appropriate funds. 3) to purchase 35 VFW caps with new logo. 4) To donate $500.00 to Project Echelon Racing For Veterans. Good of The Order: A Guest Spoke on Project Echelon. The Website is being updated. Look it over. There being no further business, The meeting was closed at 8:10 PM according to ritual.
